The Lodge sits in Riverfront, a unique enclave of private homes just minutes from the Bretton Woods Base Lodge. The home faces the whole Presidential Range .
A tiny mountain stream runs in front of the home, so you can fall asleep to the sounds of rushing water. Unusual privacy is provided by the whole White Mountain National Forest which starts right behind the home. So private, Bode Miller slept here.
Guests of the Mossy Moose Lodge can take advantage of all the Mt. Washington resort complex has to offer. Twenty-seven holes of golf, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, hiking trails in summer, Alpine & Nordic skiing, and skating in winter. We’re just a short walk to the sports center with indoor pool, hot tub, racquet ball, billiards, ping pong. There’s also a complimentary shuttle throughout the complex.
Our great guest book provides ideas of things to do in the area, maps, and menus. A small library of books includes references on local hikes, and there is a paperback collection you enjoy.
Enter the foyer filled with posters from the New Hampshire ski museum and a set of relic K2’s. Up a few stairs you’ll find the living room with cathedral ceiling and a wall of windows facing the whole Presidential Range. Enjoy a cozy fire or take advantage of the small library of movies. The dining room has a table that expands to seat eight, and there is a bar with stools that adjoins the fully applianced kitchen. A private deck offers a gas grill for those tasty steaks and burgers.
The master bedroom with private full bath offers a comfortable queen size bed and piles of pillows, and a TV to catch the late night news.
Downstairs is a golf-themed family room with a full size futon, another TV and board games, and a sliding glass door out to the lawn and woods. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the second with two twins. Another full bath and laundry complete this level.
